-the wind of the Spirit

-wind us powerful.. breathe is personal

1. The wins is invisible yet real

-to the world, the Holy Spirit is unreal.. but to the believers, we know Him experiencially

-we can feel the wind if we are willing to go higher

   -we can sense the Holy Spirit if we are willing to worship higher and higher

2. The wind is constant in movement

-we are encircled by the Holy Spirit

-

3. The wind is mysterious in working

-we don't control the Holy Spirit.. we only surrender

   -"not my will, but yours be done"

      -trust in the Holy Spirit

4  winds of the Spirit

   1. the east wind of discipline

      -the east wind often brings pain and grieve.. but God is in control

   -it is in the trail of many times that we develop mountain moving faith

      -without mountain, how to have mountain moving faith?

   2. The west wind of deliverance-the Holy Spirit can blow our suffering away

   3. The north wind of awakening

   -cool and refreshing

   -Holy Spirit awakens us with fresh visions

   4. The south wind of transformation

   -fragrance of Jesus is a recognizable

      -the fruits of the Spirit

-we cannot choose.. we must surrender fully to the 4 winds of the Spirit

-hold on to God and learn to praise God in the storm

-God wants us to be a windmill

   -gernerate life power regardless of the wind direction

-we can't control the wind but we can create a condition for the wind to move

-when we are low in life, heat up our prayer, praise

-faith pleases God..  

4. The wind is powerful in action

-we can see, but we can sense the Holy Spirit

-

-if oil is the emblem, annointing is the substance

   -oil touches physically, annointing transforms

-it was the annointing that takes good works to another level

2 levels of annointing

1. The annointing within us

-awaken a hunger and thrist for God

-a longing for God's presence, love

-when we are confused, we have the Holy Spirit guarding and guiding us

-signs and miracles can't change people's heart

-

2. The annointing upon us

-God form us inwardly, then overflows outwardly

-without inner growth results in burn out

-it is the inner annointing that sustains the outer annointing

-

-we can use the annointing for good or for evil

   -Saul never allow the Holy Spirit to change in heart

      -anger and jealousy destroyed him and the annointing of God left him

-seek the person.. not the power

-if we seek the power, we will use the Holy Spirit. If we seek the person, the Holy Spirit will use us

-it is the not us, but the annointing of the Holy Spirit

-this only happens if we surrender more and more

-we can quieten the Holy Spirit.. it's our choice

-if we reject, He simply withdraw and walk away

-the Holy Spirit is looking for a willing heart

-allow the Holy Spirit to rub it in till our spiritual blindness is gone

-the fool is the one who says in his or her heart that there is no God

-dont sleep through life

-learn to manage time in us not learn time management

   -make the most out of everything

-God comes to us, disguise as our life

-whwn we are in pain, don't hide, don't run away from it

   -if we run away, pain becomes big and we become small

   -stay in it, with God.. the pain will become small and we grow bigger

-we will get "no" from God

-if God is not anxious, we don't have to be anxious either

-God gives rest

-rest becomes a lifestyle

-Jeus didn't come to improve our life...

   -bring our cross to die for the things that are killing us and Jesus will give us the life

-if we don't have enough time or energy and resources.. we doing things not what Jesus wants us to do

-we do things without Jesus permission.. results in burn out

-dove - gentle

-water - wash away our sins

-rain - great outpouring

-dew - daily renewal

-breath - closer than we can imagine

-presence is all around and inside us

-oil was poured on David and the Holy Spirit came upon him

1. Oil flows and penetrates

- oil flows all the way from the head to the end of the toe

   -when there is love and unity, the oil flows, the Holy Spirit flows

       -cannot be manufactured... It's the work of the Holy Spirit

-they share the same faith

2. Oil soothes and heals

-Jesus suffered the most for our transgressions, but Jesus has the most joy... He has the inner joy

-spirit of heaviness = depression

3. Oil fuels and illumines

-when there is spiritual oil, we see revelations

4. Oil softens and protects

-prayer feels, heart is brittle cos the oil in the heart is missing

-

-God lifted us up. It's the fresh annointing to sustain us

-old oil

-lost it's fragrance

-will even make us sick
