Passive = just receive, God takes initiative.. we can choose to run away
Active = our part.. we take the initiative

-boredom is the gateway to spiritual
-boredom throughout the day gives us opportunity to be spiritual.. draw devotion back to God
-detach other things, just to be quiet
-quietness will give way to powerful spiritual
-inmediately after baptism, Jesus was led into the wilderness
-to the world, wilderness = a place of weakness, where God is slient
-its also of place of devine encounter.. it's a place of strength
-Jesus woke up early and went to slient and solitude
-Jesus was very clear in His direction, calling cos of the silence and solitude
-there are times we need to be with Jesus alone.. but there could be things happening, holding us back
-all day long, Jesus was so busy, but He knew that time with God is more important than sleep
-the more successful and famous Jesus becomes, the more Jesus went into silence and solitude
-but we are the opposite...the more successful, the busier we are
-if Jesus needs slience, all the more we require
-soundless, complete quiet
-quietness is healing to the soul
-being quiet
-Gods presence is in the silence and stillness
-the anger, the lust, the worries running in our mind
-to find the life that is truly life
