   Despite the sufferings and challenges, David can sing my cup overflow cos he looks at God and not the material things

      Material things and blessings and outward circumstances are not the right source

         Procession nv satisfy

         Power nv satisfy cos there is always a higher position

        Pleasure never satisfy, there is always a better destination

      Recognition never satisfy, could be 

      Only God truly satisfy

-unthankfulness leads to unholiness, discontentment

-the people started to complain when they eats the same food.. though God bless them with food without them needing to eat

-we should be happy that others are happy and blessed

Envy stops our cup from overflow

   "What abt me"

-we forget that we are God's children

-worry and fear 

Faith sings a overflowing cup, resulting in overflowing praise

-we cannot separate the person 

-God give more than what we ask

-God has endless supply

-the way a host fills up the cup of the guest is an indication of the level of his hospitality

   God pours and pours till we are drenched cos God welcomes us and wants us to be in the relationship

-if we try to move our cup, we will miss the outflow that leads to the overflow

   Will we stay at the table in challenges, uncertainty

   1. affirming love

      Cause a sense of identity and security

         It doesn't who we are but whose we are

-God is calling us to an intimate relationship with Him

There is no angry thought in the father... He

-when the son returns home, the father is joy

-the elder son has no love for his family

   -he works very hard for his father, but no relationship

-both son is lost

   -one chooses to live stubbornly in sin, another has cold relationship w anger

   -anger is only a missing d in danger... Anger is dangerous

-when there is control and abuse, the relationship is disconnected

-we must be very intentional to grow

-spirit of bondage causes ppl to be tormented emotionally

-God is the spirit of life, not death

-the story of this son is like us, returning to God the Father

-the son was sinful and remembered the things that he used to eat

-sin has consequences

-the son left home as a son, but wants to return being just a servant

   -sin got a hold of him, being from a son to a hired servant.. he lost sight of who he is

      -sin always decreases value

-what we say to us is powerful !

   -the son sees himself as a hired servant, he will behave like one..

-If we have low self worth, it's hard to figure the purpose of life... Then it's easy for others to figure out for us

   -problem is ppl are also not sure.. blind leading the blind.. they will confuse us

      -cos they are not the one who created us

-ita hard for them to believe that God have a something for them

-self image is what the devil been using

   -tempting Eve, and Jesus

-Moses felt so small that the plan God have for him is too big

-The way we see ourself can be a hindrance to God's plan for us

-the wrong self image precent us from enjoying God's promises

-the value we place on ourself will determine how other sees us and how they will treat us

-our authority is connected to our identity

   -the father ran as soon as he sees his son

   -the father wants his son to enter the house as his son

-now the older son has a problem.. he became jealous

-the older son felt the the relationship he has with his father is transactional

-when love is absent on a relationship, it becomes transactional

-we don't have to work to earn what is from God cos we are His children
