THE SEVEN MOMENTS OF FAITH

-faith works through love

-no love no trust, no faith

-what we want may not be what God's desire for us 

-thr bible does not ask us to believe in ourself, but to believe in God 

-salvation is by grace.. we can't earn it 

-the faith we have is from the Holy Spirit 

-the word of God is the seed, Holy Spirit gives life and faith is the fruit 

-the Holy Spirit persuade us to believe 

how the spirit works faith in us

-most people hear by the ear and not the heart 

-we need to Holy Spirit 

-when the written word is turned into a loving word =rhema

   -a specific word/sentence

2. The spiritt persuade us to believe the Word
-not the self confidence 

3. the spirit prompts us to speak the Word 

-

-speak to the mountain 

-Jesus said "says" 3 times, "believe" 1 time 

-faith speaks whatever God first spoke 

4. The spirit enables us to visualize the Word

-not only ask but also to imagine 

5. The Spirit empowers us to obey the Word 

-

6. The spirit moves us to rejoice in the Word

-

-

-the praise is not earning the victory but it's the expressing for faith, confessing in songs for what they believe 

7. The spirit fills us with hope through the Word 

-faith is the substance of things hope for 

-eagerly waiting = expectation... Not giving up 

-faith requires patience and perseverance

   - wait in hope

-faith is not self manufactured

-

the God who heals

-

-infirmity could be our soul or physical health

-sickness is not a blessing

   -a bondage, a captivity, an opression

-we need to draw near to God in faith and confidence

   -we need to pray in faith for our healing

-Jesus wants to forgive our sin and also heal the sick

-how to build faith

-pray in tongues

-word of God

-only God have the power to pray.. our job is to pray

-

-he turned away from all distraction to focus on God

-when the miracles come, we can't control.. its from God

   -if we don't pray, nothing will happen

-he prayed the scriptures

-

-Jesus could have said "my power", "my sovereignty" but Jesus choose to say "your faith"

-we should give God the glory! Our testimony seals our healing and miracles

-sound mind = mental wellness

cannot serve two masters

-

-mammon = wealth, material things, money

   -has a unique attraction cos ppl with it has higher status and considered successful

-if we are serving God, which is money always the factor in our decision

-money is still important.. we need money to live and even to love God

   -but God must have the final say if God is our master

-money is not the deciding factor but faith is!

-without faith it is impossible to serve God

-

-God will be our source

-mammon can lead us to places we never wanted to go, God will lead is in His presence

-God love us, mammon don't love us

-to serve God means to trust Him

-money is a good servant but not a good master

-

-

-now the disciples not only witness miracles but to do ot

-

-

-healing the sick, casting out the demons doesn't cost the disciples money

-Jesus is not only sensitive to His disciples but also the crowd

-

-

-Jesus alr knew what is He is going to do, but ask Philip to test him

-Philip is overwhelmed by the cost

-God's plan is not limited to the amount of money in their pocket

-

-Andrew is willing to take the risk even if he could be foolish

-

-

-

-

-this time, the disciples reacted differently

-they finally understood that they can step into a new relm of possible if they serve God where worry has no place

Choose the serve God and not mammon!
