LIFE'S INTERRUPTION - LIFE OF JOSEPH

Joseph shared his dreams with his brothers and thinking they will rejoice with him.. however, his brothers were jealous

again and again, Jesus goes through interruption. however, Jesus is not upset or annoyed 

interruption is used by God to show up to do something powerful

Joseph started off well, then sold to Egypt, was doing well then thrown in the prison but was favored

-God may take away some things from us.. cos God wanted to protect us

-God may not answer our prayers... cos it may not be good for us

1. Joseph stayed close to God

-the bible didnt mentioned "the Lord was with Joseph" when he was with his father Israel

-Joseph turned his problems into prayer, his worries into worship

   -Joseph chose to stay close with God

2. Joseph studied his environment

-everything happened for a reason

3. Joseph served with excellence

-instead of trying to get out of our pit through rebellion, get out of your pit through promotion

   -never be promoted to the next level if we dont have anyone to serve

      -2 groups of ppl... those above us, those under us / members

4. Joseph didnt go back to his past

-if we ever need to go back to our past, conduct a burial, not a party

-our past will call us, but it has nothing new to say

-reason of our misery, pain

-in our misery and pain, God wants to reveal His comfort

STIR CRAZY

-there is a craziness in each of us

-God wants to give us the desire of our heart
   -God finds pleasure when we live full of joy
   -we need to first delight in God!

-many times, we are God what we want rather than aligning our life to God's heart and God's heart shares our heart then we will have our hearts aligned with God's heart
   -our joy is complete cos we are so connected to God tt nothing disconnect our relationship

-what would we want to change in our life if we can have a turn back?

-be who you are!

-when we live our life out of the freedom of Jesus, we end up conforming to the pattern to this world
   -not be confirmed, but transformed!

-stay unique and be who you are!

-don't be afraid of the scars and marks we have

*stay unique and optimistic at the same time!
   -when life is going well and easy, its easy to be optimistic!
   -its at moments of crisis, being optimistic is what the world needs! its so easy to be pessimistic in such times
      -its not abt not being realistic but its abt not giving up on creating a better future!

-there is a fullness tt comes when you have a relationship w Jesus
   -in the fullness of Christ, we find strength to be optimistic

-living in the fullness, staying crazy in the realm of impossible
   -stay unique, stay optimistic, stay present

we may dream / be in hurry tt we missed the present moment, beauty and wonder of life

-be who you are, be who Jesus wants you to become
*worship is not just singing and declaring God's goodness...
=absorbing in the beauty and wonder of all God has done and celebrating every moment of our life

-stay in the present and enjoy the present moment
