CHARACTERISTICS OF A GODLY MOTHER

Bathsheba is a respectable women!

Bathsheba follows the Bible (Lev 18 15).. she cleanse herself

-David killed Bathsheba's husband and made her his wife, and she lost her child

-God loved Bathsheba and gave her a son Solomon

Bathsheba read and followed the Bible closely

the bible gave Bathsheba wisdom!

2. prays and trusts the Lord

-God wants to straighten our path

-keeps praying and praising

-don't have to be a super women, knowing everything

-when we are weak, God will show Himself strong for us

-whatever the devil has, God can turn it around into something beautiful

3. loves unconditionally

-never let love and faithfulness leave us

-Bathsheba is a victim, but she doesn't keep her victim mentality

4. forgives unceasingly

-Bathsheba forgave David

   -she chose not to be resentful, bitter

Naomi set out as a beautiful young girl but now a poor widow
