the spirit's voice in the shadows

-in times of trouble, it's easy for our hearts to be troubled

the Holy Spirit will help us

-

-the wounds if hardship goes deeper, into our soul

-

-the father's pain was intensified due to the helplessness 

-the father wavers between faith and unbelieve, hope and despair, trust and fear 

be still in the stillness of night and we can hear His voice

we must not let our heart be troubled

the Holy Spirit with them! and He is enough to drive out all fears

give attention to

1. the Word 

the Holy Spirit is the divine author of scripture 

give our best time to the scripture

2. prayer 

-when we pray, the Holy Spirit in us prays

-give our best time to pray

-make prayer our priority 

-in prayer, surrender our sorrows

-in prayer, we can hear from God

 -

3. the gifts of the spirit

-let the Spirit speak through us

   hope will rise, healing will come 

-

-

-like a child depending on their parents, we as a child of God, we should also depend on God

-dont mix between childlikeness and childishness

-

-childlikeness do with trust.. childishness do with thinking

-never lose the wonder of a child (woww)

-all the disciples were tortured, crucified and died

-child have incredible trust in what their father says

   -soon children grows up until they face challenges.. and they even feel that they know better than their parents

      -human make mistakes, and children sees it, this losing the trust

-be careful not to outgrow our childlikeness.. lead to losing dependence of God

-in the kingdom of God, children are not just oe I'd the categories, they are the only category

-we cannot be self sufficient.. we need to have depenancy on God

2 areas of childlikeness

1. trust in God's provision

-acknowledging that God will provide

-

-

-the chief characteristics of a child is freedom of care

-dont stop believing, don't stop trusting

2. Trust in God's

-childlike trust is allowing Jesus to hold us

   -God wants us to be close to Him

-

-mother refers to God

-weaned child, not breastfed

-just because God does not provide what we expect, it doesn't mean that God doesn't love us

-come to God don't come for just provision, but to God for affection

BREATHE HOLY SPIRIT

-God wants to bring us to Him through the Holy Spirit

   -over time, this love will change us to overflowing love to others

-without union, we will dry up

-relationship takes time

-the biggest obstacle is busyness

-sabath

   -a time set every week for our soul to breath, make time and space for God to pour love to us and then from us to ppl are us

-God created the Sabbath for us as a gift for us

   -a day to slow down , renew and refresh, letting the Holy Spirit

   -if we don't follow, we are breaking the rythem God has created for us

-God rested purposely not cos He's tired but so that He can celebrate

-God blessed humans, animals and sabath

-sabath gives life

-our body will breakdown so that we can have a rest

-a day set for God.. not just self

-this is the rhythm of life

-if we honor God, God is going to honor us
