   -bring our cross to die for the things that are killing us and Jesus will give us the life

-rain - great outpouring

-dew - daily renewal

-breath - closer than we can imagine

-presence is all around and inside us

-oil was poured on David and the Holy Spirit came upon him

1. Oil flows and penetrates

- oil flows all the way from the head to the end of the toe

   -when there is love and unity, the oil flows, the Holy Spirit flows

       -cannot be manufactured... It's the work of the Holy Spirit

-Jesus suffered the most for our transgressions, but Jesus has the most joy... He has the inner joy

3. Oil fuels and illumines

-when there is spiritual oil, we see revelations

-prayer feels, heart is brittle cos the oil in the heart is missing

-we need to live in the spirit

-God gave us a precious gift.. the Holy Spirit

-we need to choose to live in Him

-the more we breathe in the Holy Spirit, the stronger is our spirit

-we inhale the Holy Spirit when we pray

-when read the Word of God, we receive the breath of God

-the Holy Spirit always surrounds us whether we know it or not

Atmosphere of the Spirit

1. Transforms us

-the Holy Spirit is so gentle.. doesn't crush or cause panic

2. Shields us from destruction

-break free, key to living a victorious life

   -not thriving harder, but abiding deeper..

3. Reflects the beauty of Christ

-without atmosphere, it will be darkness

-intelligence alone is not enough.. only knowledge

   -we need revelation

4. Communicates God's voice

-sounds needs atmosphere to travel

-in the atmosphere of the Spirit, we can hear God's voice

-there is no shortage in flow of Spirit

   -problem is us.. the coldness of our heart

contending for miracles

-God is still a miracle working God

-Jesus has power over nature.. calm the storm

-Jesus has power over evil spirits

-Jesus has power over sickness and disease

-Jesus has power over death

-God is still a miracle working God today

-promises and what we see is reality differs.. then we began to doubt.. caught between faith and doubt

   -there is a different between kingdom now and not-yet

   -our job is to continuing praying.  Pray consistently and don't give up
