-the wind of the Spirit

-wind us powerful.. breathe is personal

1. The wins is invisible yet real

-to the world, the Holy Spirit is unreal.. but to the believers, we know Him experiencially

-we can feel the wind if we are willing to go higher

   -we can sense the Holy Spirit if we are willing to worship higher and higher

2. The wind is constant in movement

-we are encircled by the Holy Spirit

3. The wind is mysterious in working

-we don't control the Holy Spirit.. we only surrender

   -"not my will, but yours be done"

      -trust in the Holy Spirit

4  winds of the Spirit

   1. the east wind of discipline

      -the east wind often brings pain and grieve.. but God is in control

   -it is in the trail of many times that we develop mountain moving faith

      -without mountain, how to have mountain moving faith?

   2. The west wind of deliverance-the Holy Spirit can blow our suffering away

   3. The north wind of awakening

   -cool and refreshing

   -Holy Spirit awakens us with fresh visions

   4. The south wind of transformation

   -fragrance of Jesus is a recognizable

      -the fruits of the Spirit

-we cannot choose.. we must surrender fully to the 4 winds of the Spirit

-hold on to God and learn to praise God in the storm

-God wants us to be a windmill

   -gernerate life power regardless of the wind direction

-we can't control the wind but we can create a condition for the wind to move

-when we are low in life, heat up our prayer, praise

-faith pleases God..  

4. The wind is powerful in action

-we can see, but we can sense the Holy Spirit

-if oil is the emblem, annointing is the substance

   -oil touches physically, annointing transforms

-it was the annointing that takes good works to another level

2 levels of annointing

1. The annointing within us

-awaken a hunger and thrist for God

-a longing for God's presence, love

-when we are confused, we have the Holy Spirit guarding and guiding us

-signs and miracles can't change people's heart

-

2. The annointing upon us

-God form us inwardly, then overflows outwardly

-without inner growth results in burn out

-it is the inner annointing that sustains the outer annointing

-

-we can use the annointing for good or for evil

   -Saul never allow the Holy Spirit to change in heart

      -anger and jealousy destroyed him and the annointing of God left him

-seek the person.. not the power

-if we seek the power, we will use the Holy Spirit. If we seek the person, the Holy Spirit will use us

-it is the not us, but the annointing of the Holy Spirit

-this only happens if we surrender more and more

-we can quieten the Holy Spirit.. it's our choice

-if we reject, He simply withdraw and walk away

-the Holy Spirit is looking for a willing heart

-allow the Holy Spirit to rub it in till our spiritual blindness is gone
