Pick up the stones
Nehemiah 1:2-4
Restore back the worship and God will restore back our life
Nehemiah is a cupbearer in a palace, faraway from Jerusalem... However he has the desire to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem
-pick up the stones and rebuild
*what are some of the stones in your life tt you left it lying on the ground?...
-it could be a dream, self worth, studies, prayer life, Bible reading, soul winning, marriage
*why ppl dong pick up the stones
-they don't see alr in these stones
-if you see the value, you will nv pick it up
-its not abt busyness, but it's the value we see
-whats the point of picking up? It will be messy again
-fatigue

-get proper rest
-failure
-how to handle the failures?
-you are nv a failure until you quit
-stop making excuses

-start immediately

Psalm 13
-David starts looking at the inside... At the darkness
-David, man after God.. but he is in sorrows
-happy times flies but in hard times hours crawls

-David knew what went wrong.. But in psalm 13, David don't know why terrible things happen
-when we don't know why terrible things happen, we start to question
What to do when we have are facing terrible situations
-hold on to the things revealed
Deuteronomy 29:29
-there are secret things (invisible)
-what we experience in the present, rmb the past... But the future is unknown

-but God knows... God is the alpha and omega
Hold on to the things revealed!
-God is faithful!!

-ten were healed, but only 1 returned to give thanks... he not only received healing but also the healer (Jesus) walking with you every single day

parents, it is more impt to make the children focus on their studies and results or being a follower of Jesus?
its God's kindness that brings us to Him.. not God's rough nor anger
unconditional love is not the same as unconditional approval for our behavior

God created everyone to have greatness in His eyes.. not in the eyes of the ppl

-each person is diff from the other.. even twins are diff

-the church is God's own family here on earth

JESUS IS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

-often we have thinking if we are to work harder, we won't have failed
On the 4th day, Jesus appeared to ppl again
-God may not be early, but He is nv late
*God is always on time!
*our job is to believe, it's God's job to do the impossible

*Jesus has overcome the tomb of sin and sorrow
2. Sickness and pain
-the name of Jesus is more powerful than any sickness

On Fri, Jesus died, on Sat, ppl burried Him in the tomb.. On Sun, Jesus broke the power of death and rose again!

THE GREAT COMMISSION
matt 8:5-10
-Jesus is always present in person to heal
-in crisis, God's word is not an inferior substitute for God's presence
-God's word is sufficient
*every spontaneous action comes from a prepared mind
*how does a teacher knows if students understand..its when the student ask the correct qns
*ask the right qns can lead to revelations
*if we have the faith to see it, God's power is always ready to perform
*dont qn God's word, but qn why is it not happening in our life and act on it (pray for it and keep believing it!)

-understand authority is the key
