Abraham has no fear, cos he live by faith and not by sight
-when Lot lift up his eyes, he only see the natural and physical circumstance
-when Abraham, lifted his eyes, he saw the Lord
Abraham is not afraid of crisis, not afraid of being generous in a crisis
the Gentiles have no God, so their eyes is in the natural resources
fix our eyes on God!
when 1 door is closed, the other will be open
be generous to the Lord

Balaam
Balaam sinned against God
he was double minded! he was tossed between 2 masters
the command is to don't go with them
during crisis, still pure
cos of the deceitful, he became unfruitful
don't go for cheat or lies.. don't give in!
stay pure, God will show up!
God
-no one can tell God what to do
-when Abraham, lifted his eyes, he saw the Lord

-Balaam responded well, but the promise of gold is too much

the children of Israel is only mentioned once in this chapter
-Israel is just happily camping... they doesn't know what is happening ard them, God is fighting for them
-stay close to God!
when we feel like losing control of things, trust God! God is fighting for us!
-God want to help us overcome and restore, give us the strength to overcome
-remain calm in faith and stay close to God
