holy passion week = last week of Jesus on earth
Sunday - enter Jeruseleum
Mon-Wed - enter and cleanse the temple
-walk pass the fig tree
-Judas negotiated with the soldiers to betray Jesus
Thurs - last supper
-Jesus is under intense pressure and droplets of blood in His blood
Fri - went through trails
9am crucified, body hanged on the cross
3pm breathed His last
Sat - soldiers guarded the tomb to ensure tt no one steal His body
Sun - few women came and realized that Jesus has resurrected
-Jesus appeared to 5 different groups of ppl
-Jesus is not dead, but alive!
palm Sunday cos people welcome Him with palm branches
why did Jesus ride on a donkey instead of a horse?
1. fulfil the prophecy
Jesus want the people to know that He is the messiah
2. make peace between God and man
-king ride on a horse in war
-king ride on donkey in peace
3. identify Himself with common people
-king only ride on horse
-Jesus wants to show tt He is here to serve
the Lord has the need for it
everything belongs to God..
the feeling of being needed is essential in every relationship
1. God uses those who are accessible
to be accessible is to at the right place at the right time to be used
2. God uses those who are imperfect
the donkey was tied up when God (the Lord) has use of it
3. God uses those who are available

we may be accessible, but are we available?
4. God uses those who are willing to work hard
we need to lean on God more
-donkey is stubborn, not as pretty, not as fast as other animals... but a burden carrier
-as a burden carrier, the donkey is willing to work hard
