-katharis - to cleanse, flush out all the impurities
-not allowing impurities of life to poison us
-to tangibly experience God
-knowledge is experiential
for theoria to happen, we need to have the right spiritual temperature
-love is the spirit of love
-fruit of the spirit
not just words but demonstration of the spirit's power
-if without righteousness, become a compromiser... we cant see God, no encounter
-if without love, become a harsh person / loveless person
-if without power, will have a very dry religion.. no powerful encounters.. can be dangerous, spiritually dead
