-pentecost is the first time the Holy Spirit come and dwell on the believers permanently

-we must decide to speak and the words come from the Spirit
-tongues is the gateway to the supernatural
why we should speak in tongues
1. edification
-when we speak in tongues, we are charging our spiritual up... powerful prayers, sensitive to God
-we can still be a Christian without tongues, but not a powerful one
2. praise
-sing a song not composted by people
stand in the gap to pray for another person
4. spiritual warfare
put on the full armor of God and pray on tongues
5. rest
above all, Jesus wants us to speak in tongues
-less stress when speaking in tongues
-relaxes us
