-
Eccles 7 8

exodus
the children of Israel made idols and made God angry! and God made known to Moses that God wants to destroy the people
  but God didn't
exodus 1 3
problem is the people didn't realise that they had taken God's love and grace for granted

of all gifts, Jesus values most with personal walk with God

1. do we still value the presence of God in our life
exodus 33 1
exodus 33 2
exodus 33 3

pic
have we use success to replace our relationship with God?
pic esteem
we have a choice... God won't force

exodus 33 15
Moses understood the value of the relationship with God

exodus 33 16
grace and favour of God with make us distinct from the world when we are in the bad situation
world turn towards their money, connections.. child of God will turn to God and God will turn it into something good for us

pic

Psalm 139 7 8
when in success, we are in balance..not going overboard
when going through the worse situation, can sleep in peace cos God can turn it for good

Psalm 139

139 11
hopeless, presence of God will give us assurance

the people will feel hopeless, anxious, unsecure in tough times

2. do we value

exodus 33 1
exodus 33 2
it's easy to choose between good and bad.. but to choose God and good is the tough
we need to value God over good

if we see good = God and not God =good, then problem..
we won't be able to see that God have something for us when we are going through bad times

exodus 33 18
Moses asked God to show His glory
it's difficult to lead 3m stiff necked people, but it's worth it

exodus 33 19

summ
be genuine and God will show up
we can still be successful without God, but we won't be able to survive well in tough situation without God
this is the distinction between Christians and non Christians
