does truth still matter? yes! God is a God of truth

1. God is consistent
God stays true to His commitment

in the past, God blessed us with good and perfect gifts.. and He will continue

no matter what we are going through, God is always consistent

God is good even in times of crisis!

2. God has complete integity
 integrity = what you say is what you get

when God says it, He will do it

God is a promise keeper

God does not change...

3. God is faithful & dependable

during crisis, ppl always search for secure anchor!

-God is the God of truth!
   -truth does matter!

walk in truth!
fellowship is only possible if we walk in the light

nakedness: nothing to hide

without truth, there could be no intimacy

if one is dishonest, he will have to be cunning.. come up with lies so tt ppl will believe him

integrity builds trust, trust builds intimacy

walking in truth is critical if want to be intimate with God

when Adam sin, he went into hiding.. but God called out to Adam "where are you"

the Holy Spirit wants to restore our relationship with the Father!

God wants to set us free from lies and deceits

THE TECHNOLOGY TRAP

those who are able to survive changes will be able to survive and thrive

technology is neutral.. its depends on how ppl use it

when we start using technology, we get transformed by the technology itself

technology brings convenience to ppl, but we may have lose our skills

redeem technology = use the technology responsibly, not allowing them to dictate our culture

only face to face dialogue can help ppl be more knowledgble

-John is aware of the throwbacks of writing
   -he values face to face meeting more than just the distancing communication
   -but he still uses writing in service of the bodylife of the church.. but not to the point to replace the service of bodylife of the church

*be aware of technology strengths and weaknesses
   -not be replaced
*dont be naive! it will change us without us knowing

if online become so normal and convenient, convenience became the normal it have replaced commitment, community

technology transform the world and transform human

2. Cain

-Cain builds an alt city to Garden of Eden
-God rejected Cain's offering.. cos Cain's heart is alr not right with God
   -Cain is evil in his heart
-away from natural disaster... but isolated

worship have to be in spirit and in truth

we need to be involved in the process

tech bring convenience, but being more tech doesn't make us a better person

-devices hide the process and value
-removes patience.. at a click of a button

before the Covid19, we need to make a decision to go the house of God, patience in the crowd
