does truth still matter? yes! God is a God of truth
3 things abt God of truth 1. God is consistent God stays true to His commitment
in the past, God blessed us with good and perfect gifts.. and He will continue
no matter what we are going through, God is always consistent
God is good even in times of crisis!
2. God has complete integity
integrity = what you say is what you get
when God says it, He will do it
God is a promise keeper
God does not change...
3. God is faithful & dependable
during crisis, ppl always search for secure anchor!
-God is the God of truth!
-truth does matter!
walk in truth!
fellowship is only possible if we walk in the light
nakedness: nothing to hide
without truth, there could be no intimacy
if one is dishonest, he will have to be cunning.. come up with lies so tt ppl will believe him
integrity builds trust, trust builds intimacy
walking in truth is critical if want to be intimate with God
when Adam sin, he went into hiding.. but God called out to Adam "where are you"
the Holy Spirit wants to restore our relationship with the Father!
God wants to set us free from lies and deceits
